Intercapital Invest in Q1 2010

Intercapital Invest executed equity and fund units trades on the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE) of 35.3 Million EUR in the first three months of 2010, compared to only 8.7 Million in the first quarter of 2009. The value of the company's derivatives trades on the BSE was 1.5 Million in Q1 2010, while fixed income trades were negligible.

Intercapital Invest executed derivative trades on the Sibex Exchange of 17.8 Million EUR in Q1 2010, compared to 12.6 Million in Q1 2009. The company's equity trades on Sibex were 0.13 Million EUR.

The company's number of clients reached 4,319 at the end of March 2010, while total income was 0.37 Million EUR for the first quarter. Intercapital Invest launched a number of new projects in the first three months of the current year, including the first exchange trade with EUA Carbon Credits in Romania, the first equity trade on the Sibex exchange, the StocksRO financial application for the iPhone, a video investment guide on the company's YouTube channel and the listing of the OTP Green Energy fund, the year's first listing on the BSE.
