Launch of iFond Actiuni and iFond Monetar funds

Intercapital Invest expands its presence on the capital market by finalizing the acquisition of an independent asset manager, the two companies forming one of the most important independent groups on the Romanian market. Thus, asset manager Investica becomes Intercapital Investment Management after its acquisition by Intercapital Invest.

Following the acquisition Intercapital Investment Management will implement a new development strategy based on performance for investors, innovation, transparency and communication. The first step of this strategy is the launch of two new mutual funds, iFond Actiuni and iFond Monetar.

iFond Actiuni is an equity fund investing more than 85% of its assets in Romanian stocks with good financials and management, strong market position and positive growth outlook. iFond Monetar is a money market fund which invests in bank deposits. A new version of the asset manager's website, at www.ifond.ro, was also launched today.

Investments in the two funds is available at the company's main office in 33 Aviatorilor Bd, 1st floor, Bucharest. Distribution of funds units through the web and over the phone will be introduced in the following months.
