StocksRO: Stock Quotes & Charts for the iPhone

Now it's easier than ever to track your favorite Romanian stocks. Intercapital Invest launches StocksRO for Apple's iPhone, an application used for tracking prices and charts of Romanian securities.


General Info

With StocksRO users may create their own portfolio of Romanian stocks, bonds, indexes and derivatives, track prices and display historical charts.

StocksRO is designed and published by Intercapital Invest, in a first for Romania. The application displays charts for 6 months, one, two and three years and intra-day, as well as trading information (prices, variation, volumes, value of trades).

For ease of use, StocksRO was designed using the layout of Stocks, one of the pre-loaded applications available on the iPhone. StocksRO is available in English and Romanian, for both the iPhone and the iPod Touch.

StocksRO is available for free with 15 minute time-delayed quotes. Intercapital Invest clients may use their Intercapital Start access info for real-time data.

Installation

To install the application search for stocksro in the App Store or follow this link. The link will access App Store (on the iPhone) / iTunes Store (on computers) for installing the application.

StocksRO may only be installed on the iPhone or the iPod Touch (for other mobile devices Intercapital Invest offers to clients its Intercapital Start Mobile application, available online at m.intercapital.ro).



User's Guide

The application's main screen displays pre-defined or user-selected securities. Access to more than six securities is possible by scrolling the list. The main screen includes the following features:

- tapping on a ticker display's the chart for the chosen security
- tapping on percentage variation shows price changes in RON (and vice-versa)
- the ">" button located to the right of each line shows detailed trading info (bid/ask prices, volumes, value of trades)
- the chart's timegrame is selected using buttons at the top of the chart
- tapping on the chart displays a full-screen version

The application's main menu, located at the bottom of the main screen, includes four buttons:


- a refresh button, located at the left of the menu bar, that may be used for manual refresh of prices and the chart on the main screen (automatic refresh is described below)
- the "StocksRO" button which shows a general info screen
- the "Login" button used by Intercapital Start users for logging in to access real time data
- the configuration button, located at the right of the menu bar, that opens the configuration screen with the following features:


1. Adding add new securities to the list by using the top-left "+" button
2. Deleting securities from the list by using the "-" button located next to each security
3. Changing automatic price refresh frequency
4. Stop the application's startup animation
5. Chose display language (Romanian/English).
