Three Intercapital firsts on Sibex

On January 22 2010, Intercapital Invest executed the first equity trade in the history of Sibex (Sibiu Monetary, Financial and Commodities Exchange), after the specialised derivatives exchange launched its own spot market on the same date. The trade was made with stocks issued by the exchange itself, as Sibex is the first issuer to be listed on the newly launched spot market.

On the same day Intercapital Invest also executed the first trade with EUA Carbon Credits on Sibex. The trade is a first for Romania, as previously all EUA trading in the country was done over the counter. For additional information on Sibex EUA trading please click here.

Finally, Intercapital Invest was the broker which executed the first trade with futures contracts based on the Dow Jones Industrial Average index, also launched by Sibex on January 22.

Intercapital Invest also announced that it has entered talks with Romanian construction materials producer Adeplast Oradea for managing the company's IPO, followed by listing on Sibex.
