Intercapital Invest in Q2 2010

Intercapital Invest executed equity and fund units trades on the regulated market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BSE) of 51.4 Million EUR in the second quarter of 2010, compared to only 27.1 Million in the second quarter of the previous year. The total for the first six months of the current year was 85.5 Million EUR, compared to 35.8 Million for the first six months of 2009.

The value of the company's derivatives trades on BSE was 1.5 Million in Q2 2010 (3.0 Million for the first six months), while fixed income trades remained negligible.

Intercapital Invest executed derivative trades on the Sibex Exchange of 44.7 Million EUR in Q2 2010, compared to 20.0 Million EUR in Q2 2009. The company's equity trades on Sibex were 0.17 Million EUR for the first six months of 2010.

The company's number of clients reached 4,379 at the end of June 2010. Intercapital Invest launched or was involved in a number of major projects in Q2 2010, including managing the listing of the Bucharest Stock Exchange on the Exchange's own regulated market and launching two new mutual funds, iFond Monetar and iFond Actiuni, through the company's asset management division, Intercapital Investment Management.

On 22 July Intercapital Invest launched the IPO of the iFond Financial Romania sector fund, the first IPO of the year in the country. The fund, which is scheduled to be listed on the BSE following the closing of the IPO, will invest 50% of assets in shares of the Proprietatea Fund and the remaining of funds in financial stocks on BSE and Sibex (The offering closes on August 11).
